Road Drive
Nixor hospitals road drive was most one of the best thing I ever got to experience. I still remember my heartbeat rising as we were getting prepared to leave, everyone praying that it does not rain and everything goes smoothly. The feeling of accomplishment I felt when people gave us donations after listening to us talk about how we were going to use it, was something unforgettable. The smile we put on their faces when we told them how we used their previous donations felt amazing. Everyone was working extremely hard, sweating, panting and running after cars to pitch what we do at Nixor Hospital. The extreme sultry weather made us dehydrate more but that could not stop us. The motivation of keep going on was given to me by listening to the Donors tell us that we were doing a good job. It honestly made everything better.
After being completely drained because of heat, it started to drizzle but that did not stop us. Then the executives helped us keep the collected money in a secure place and I suddenly realised that our hard-work today could help hundreds of lives later on. This drive basically taught me how dedicated people are on helping others and they just need a platform where they could trust the volunteers to actually use the money for good which Nixor hospital is providing. I am really grateful that I got to experience this. This was my first event and it was a great start.
